Uwanji Development Trust (U.D.T) is a charitable, non-profit making, community-based trust. UDT was established in 2008 and became registered on 28th July 2010 by a certificate of registration no.S.A.16950 under society ordinance act 1954, society Act cap 337 (R.E.2002) of the United Republic of Tanzania. UDT is involved with several activities which include, but are not limited to, the following; 1.Promoting access and provision of quality education; 2. Provide assistance on health matters with special focus on HIV/AIDS; 3.Take measurable actions on the protection of environment; 4. Cooperate with governmental and non governmental stakeholders for technical and financial sustainable development issues and act as implementing agency; 5. Perform any other activity for the sustainable development of Uwanji people.
